A mother’s inspiration, Green People is the brainchild of Charlotte Vøhtz, a devoted mother and entrepreneur. Driven by the needs of her daughter Sandra, Charlotte searched for a truly organic skincare range that would be suitable for multiple skin allergies and eczema. After searching the high street for natural products, Charlotte found that on the whole, natural brands used almost entirely synthetic ingredients. The lack of gentle, natural products on the market encouraged Charlotte to create her own organic creams and salves – carefully created to tailor to her daughters allergy-prone skin.

Following years of products research and development, Green People was founded in 1997. From the very beginning, Charlotte’s ethos meant that each product performance and ethical practise was never compromised. With a promise to never use aggressive ingredients or synthetic chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, alcohol or synthetic fragrances or colourants, and to never test on animals, Green People was born.
